Super speed could be a great ability - a person could get so much done in less than the blink of an eye, and, no one else would be the wiser about it, since they wouldn't (normally) be able to witness what a super speedy person has done. A person could prevent bad things from happening if he/she were speedy enough to be at the right place at the right time, and super speed sure could help the situation. Of course, super speed would have to be used in conjunction with super strength and being bullet-proof for some problems to be averted.
It would have to be flying, so I could just like the cover of All Star Superman #1, I could get stoned, fly up in the sky, squat in the clouds and take a dump on my boss's car.
Not sure how I could ever beat Mitch - LOL - But I'll give it a shot. 100 words is harsh, Jas! ;)
Flight. I've been obsessed with it since childhood. And honestly... I didn't really watch Smallville because there was no flying.
It's the ideal freedom, the ultimate shedding of your earthly woes. There’s something in the human psyche that says "you must do this -- your soul craves it.”
When Chris Reeves’ Superman came out, remember the tagline? “You will believe a man can fly.” We have always believed that human flight was possible, even before Icarus or the winged gods of the Babylonians. The Neanderthals painted human-bird creatures. The urge to fly runs instinctually deep within us. And within me.
I think Superman’s powers complement each other, they are a package. But the individual power I would like to have is definitely the invulnerability - to be a ‘man of steel’! I think someone that simply can’t be harmed by anything made by mankind could have an important role as a neutral mediator in conflicts and disputes. I could be a journalist or a judge that can’t be coerced or threatened by anyone. Therefore I would be able to pursue justice and truth without fear, something that unfortunately we don’t see much these days.

A Superman power? Simple, flying. Why? Have you seen the price of gasoline?

The power to have cushions on my arms so that I don't chop Louis into three.

I would have the power to detect kryptonite before it affected me.
